What we keep
When you create a link, we store your shared content, file names, sizes, expiry time, and the information needed to manage access. Files are kept in private storage.
Who can access a share?
Anyone with the link can open it unless you add a password. Only share the link with people you want to receive your content. Saved links do not provide end-to-end encryption.
Send now
Files travel directly between devices over an encrypted connection. Anyone with your code or receiver link can claim the transfer; only one receiver can connect. Both devices must keep the page open.
We keep connection information temporarily to connect the devices. The other device may learn your public IP address. Unused codes expire after 10 minutes; connected sessions last up to 2 hours. Files are not saved to your share history.
Cookies
Essential cookies let you manage your shares and remember access to password-protected links. We also use limited connection information to prevent abuse.
When information is removed
Expired or revoked links stop new downloads. Files are normally removed within 24 hours. Share details and reports are kept for up to seven days after deletion, and operational records for up to 30 days. Metadata backups may remain for up to seven days. Used custom link names remain reserved without retaining the shared content.
Your control
Use My shares or your private management link to revoke access. Files already downloaded by a recipient cannot be recalled. If you lose access to your management link and browser cookies, your share still expires automatically.
